La mujer salvadoreña del baile viral de TikTok es Yanira Berríos. Un video de ocho segundos, publicado en TikTok, popularizó sus pasos y dio origen a imitaciones asociadas con la etiqueta #YaniraChallenge, según informó People en Español el 27 de septiembre de 2021.
¿Quién es Yanira Berríos?
Berríos es una salvadoreña que, antes de llamar la atención en TikTok, se ganaba la vida como vendedora ambulante en San Salvador. El perfil de People en Español la situó trabajando en una plaza comercial, donde vendía aguas heladas y otros productos.
En declaraciones atribuidas a Berríos por People en Español, que informó que habló con Univisión, ella describió su trabajo así: «Antes del video yo vendía agua, jugos, gaseosas, cigarros, dulces. Yo tengo 17 años de andar en la calle».
¿Qué baile la hizo viral?
La atención se centró en un video de baile de ocho segundos. Berríos explicó cómo escogía qué bailar: «Yo veo TikTok y la música que a mí me gusta yo lo hago. Yo en mi juventud así bailaba», según la cita publicada por People en Español.

¿Cuánta fama alcanzó en TikTok?
People en Español informó en septiembre de 2021 que el baile había superado los 10 millones de Me gusta y que una de las cuentas de Berríos tenía casi un millón de seguidores. Son cifras publicadas en ese momento: no establecen cuántos seguidores o interacciones tiene actualmente.
