The most recent published estimate of Xuxa Meneghel’s net worth that we could trace is US$160 million, attributed to a Wealthy Gorilla ranking in an August 2026 report by Exame. Other outlets publish different figures, and none of the estimates comes with an audited personal balance sheet. Read any single number as a reported estimate, not a verified fortune.

Four figures appear in current or recent reporting. They are not interchangeable: they differ in date, in method, and in whether the publisher names its source.

The real-brl and US-dollar figures cannot be compared directly. Converting R$1.3 to R$1.4 billion into dollars would require an exchange rate and a date, and neither source supplies one. The gap between the US$160 million and US$180 million estimates is also not a measured difference: neither publisher explains how it arrived at its number.
How old is the US$160 million figure?
The October 2022 Notícias da TV article already carried the same US$160 million number and linked it to a 2019 ranking. The August 2026 Exame report describes the figure as its most recent estimate, but the reporting does not show a new valuation behind it. A number that appears in 2026 may therefore reflect a valuation made several years earlier. When you cite it, give the date of the ranking that produced it, not only the date of the article that repeats it.

What the reported wealth is built from
Public reporting describes a long career across television, music, film, live shows, licensing, and business. Most of the figures below describe past activity or company performance, not what Xuxa personally holds today.
Historical earnings: US$19 million in 1991
Forbes Brasil, in a July 31, 2026 career retrospective, reports that Xuxa earned US$19 million in 1991 and ranked 37th on the US Forbes “Top 40” list at age 28. That is an annual earnings figure for one year. It is not a net-worth estimate, and the reporting does not adjust it for inflation or show what share of it was retained.

Music and audiovisual catalog
Forbes Brasil reports more than 50 million copies sold across her career, 35 studio albums, and 23 videos. It also credits the Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos audiovisual franchise with two consecutive Latin Grammy wins, in 2002 and 2003. These are measures of reach. They do not show royalty income, and no current royalty figure is published in the reporting we reviewed.
Licensing history
Memória Globo, the Globo institutional archive, says a production company founded by Xuxa in 1982 handled licensing for products tied to her name, with a line of more than 200 items that included toys, clothing, cosmetics, and school supplies. Exame gives the “Computador da Xuxa” as one example. This establishes a licensing history. It does not establish licensing income today.

Espaçolaser
Forbes Brasil describes a 2015 partnership between Xuxa and entrepreneur José Carlos Semenzato in the Espaçolaser hair-removal network. Exame reports that the network recorded R$1.1 billion in revenue in the prior year. That is company revenue. It is not Xuxa’s share, her dividend, or her personal income. The reporting does not give her current ownership percentage or the value of her stake, so the network cannot be converted into a personal asset figure.
Other business interests
Exame also mentions former interests in XBloom, which it describes as a now-defunct vegan fast-food chain, and in children’s party venues. Neither is presented as a current holding.

Property
Notícias da TV reported that a Rio de Janeiro mansion linked to Xuxa was sold in 2021 and cited a R$45 million valuation. This is a historical property value. It does not show what homes or property she owns now.
What the published figures do not establish
- A current list of assets and liabilities, or any debt figure.
- Her present ownership stake in Espaçolaser or any other company.
- Current royalty or licensing income.
- The method behind the US$160 million or US$180 million estimates. Exame names Wealthy Gorilla as the attributed source, but the reporting does not explain how that ranking reached its number. Celebrity Net Worth says its estimates rely on public information and sometimes private tips, without a breakdown.
- Any on-record statement by Xuxa, or by a named financial analyst, about her valuation.
How to cite these estimates
If you repeat a figure, state four things with it: the publisher, the publication date, whether the number is an estimate of net worth or a different measure such as annual earnings, company revenue, or a property valuation, and the date of the underlying ranking if the publisher gives one. A figure stripped of those details can easily be read as a verified fortune, and the published reporting does not support that reading.
