Spoilers ahead. In the season 2 premiere of XO, Kitty, Kitty returns to KISS for a new semester determined to focus on school, learn more about her mother, and move on from her feelings for Yuri. The plan is complicated by unresolved relationships and the school’s unsettled leadership.
What is the title of XO, Kitty season 2, episode 1?
The premiere is listed as “K.I.S.S.” by Rotten Tomatoes and styled “K.I.S.S Me Again” in The Review Geek’s recap. Episode-title wording differs between listings; check Netflix in your territory if you need the exact on-screen punctuation.
What happens in the premiere?
Kitty returns to KISS after Yuri intervenes. She wants a fresh start: to concentrate on her studies, find out more about her mother, and put her feelings for Yuri behind her. Those are Kitty’s intentions, not a settled outcome of the episode.
The school is also dealing with the aftermath of Principal Lim’s scandal. Professor Lee becomes principal, while Kitty and Min Ho face awkward tension. These plot details come from a secondary recap; Netflix’s official season materials establish the broader return-to-school setup but do not provide a dedicated episode 1 synopsis in the sources reviewed.

When did season 2 premiere?
Netflix Tudum announced January 16, 2025, as the season 2 premiere date and described Kitty as returning to KISS for a new semester. The episode is the season opener, rather than a separate special.
How does the episode connect to To All the Boys?
Netflix describes XO, Kitty as a spinoff inspired by the To All the Boys films and Jenny Han’s book series. Noah Centineo returns as Peter Kavinsky; in Netflix Tudum’s season 2 coverage, Centineo said, “Working with Anna again was amazing.” He was speaking about working with Anna Cathcart, not as Peter.

Netflix Tudum reported that XO, Kitty drew 72.1 million viewing hours in its first week in 2023 and appeared in the Top 10 in 90 countries that week. That figure refers to season 1’s first week, not season 2 or this episode.
