No verified source in the available record substantiates a pre-event leak naming seven surprise entrants for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble. The event has already taken place: Roman Reigns won the men’s match and Liv Morgan won the women’s match. WWE’s official entrant lists show who competed, but they do not prove that any names were leaked beforehand.
Was a seven-entrant leak confirmed?
No. The specific claim that seven surprise entrants were “leaked” is not supported by an attributable pre-event report in the sources cited here. WWE’s results and entrant statistics document what happened in the matches; they do not establish that those participants’ identities were disclosed in advance. A prediction, rumor, announced participant, and verified leak are different things.

CBS Sports’ preview, published on event day, noted the general expectation that Royal Rumble matches include surprises. That context does not verify a seven-name leak: CBS Sports’ January 31, 2026 preview.

WWE’s January 6, 2025 announcement said the event would be held in Riyadh in January 2026 and quoted WWE President Nick Khan: “WWE is a global enterprise and it only made sense to expand our relationship with the Kingdom by bringing one of our biggest annual events to Riyadh in January of 2026.” Read WWE’s announcement.
Which entrants were identified as surprises, returns, or debuts?
WWE’s event recap describes specific arrivals, but those descriptions are not evidence of a prior leak. It identifies Oba Femi’s official main-roster debut and Royce Keys’ WWE debut in the men’s match, and Brie Bella’s and Tiffany Stratton’s returns in the women’s match. WWE also published the match outcomes and recap: WWE’s Royal Rumble 2026 results.

These categories should not be conflated: a wrestler may be announced in advance, arrive as a surprise or return during the show, or be named in a genuinely sourced pre-event leak. The cited event coverage supports the first two kinds of information in specific cases, but not the headline’s claim of seven verified leaks.
What do WWE’s entrant statistics establish?
WWE’s official statistics list the 30 entrants in each match and their order. The men’s list, for example, places Oba Femi at No. 1, Royce Keys at No. 14, La Parka at No. 18, Rey Fenix at No. 24, and Gunther at No. 30. These are confirmed match results, not proof that those participants were reported before the event. See WWE’s entrant statistics.

How the Royal Rumble format works
WWE describes each match as starting with two wrestlers, with additional participants entering at timed intervals. A wrestler is eliminated after going over the top rope and having both feet touch the floor. The last wrestler remaining wins a championship match at WrestleMania. WWE’s men’s match page gave January 31, 2026, as the event date and listed the planned event-day U.S. and international streaming destinations as ESPN and Netflix, respectively; those details are historical, not current viewing guidance.
