Jacob Fatu also made a decisive impact in The Bloodline’s six-man tag victory, helping set up Solo Sikoa’s pin of Cody Rhodes. Those swings made for a compelling show; calling it a “home run” is a judgment, not an official result.
What happened at Money in the Bank 2024?

| Intercontinental Championship | Sami Zayn retained against Bron Breakker with a Helluva Kick. |
| World Heavyweight Championship | Damian Priest retained against Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre after McIntyre cashed in his contract. |

Winner and loser: Drew McIntyre’s night turned on the cash-in
The ladder-match win was earned
McIntyre defeated five other competitors and climbed to claim the briefcase. WWE’s recap says he used a ladder to knock Jey Uso down before making the climb. That win gave him a contract promising a future championship opportunity.
The cash-in failed after CM Punk’s attack
McIntyre chose to cash in during Priest’s title defense against Rollins. Punk struck McIntyre with a steel chair, and Priest hit the South of Heaven Chokeslam before pinning him to retain. McIntyre was therefore both a match winner and the loser of his immediate title bid.

“Screwed again” is a fair editorial reading of the documented interference, but it is not WWE’s official verdict. The interference changed the situation; the recorded result remains Priest’s successful defense. WWE also stated that Rollins could not challenge for the championship while Priest held it.
Jacob Fatu was the momentum changer
Fatu’s value in the main event was more than presence or spectacle. WWE’s recap describes him shrugging off Orton’s second-rope DDT, helping restore Bloodline momentum after Kevin Owens entered, and returning after going through the announce table. He then took Rhodes out of the action, opening the way for Sikoa to pin the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The Bloodline, Tiffany Stratton and Sami Zayn left with results
The Bloodline
The Bloodline beat Rhodes, Orton and Owens, and Sikoa pinned Rhodes. WWE characterized the victory as solidifying the faction as a major threat. That is the company’s storyline framing; the match result itself is straightforward: the trio won, with Fatu playing a crucial role in the finish.

Was it a “home run” show?
The event delivered several consequential outcomes: two contract winners, a successful title defense, a failed cash-in driven by interference, and a major Bloodline victory over three prominent opponents. Fatu’s contribution gave the main event a clear momentum arc, while McIntyre’s split result supplied the night’s sharpest turn. Those are strong grounds for calling the show a home run, but that remains an assessment rather than a measurable consensus grade. Forbes published individual match grades; they should be understood as Konuwa’s opinions, not an agreed score for the event.

In a July 8, 2024 release, TKO/WWE reported that the event was the highest-grossing WWE arena event in Canada in company history and the most-watched Money in the Bank to that date. The company said viewership was up 46 percent from the previous year’s record-setting number. These are company-reported figures, not independently measured audience statistics in the cited release.
