Several WWE performers have followed a parent into professional wrestling, but the available official examples support six individual performers—not a verified list of ten. This is an editorial selection, not a WWE ranking. It includes only descendants whose own wrestling roles are documented, rather than children known only from a family story or event appearance.
Six documented examples of wrestling dynasties
WWE’s family-history coverage documents multiple generations in several wrestling families. The examples below distinguish a direct parent-child relationship from a wider family lineage and pair each connection with a documented role or milestone.

1. Randy Orton, son of “Cowboy” Bob Orton
WWE identifies Randy Orton as the son of Hall of Famer “Cowboy” Bob Orton and the grandson of Bob Orton Sr. The family feature describes the Ortons’ wrestling tradition across three generations. Randy is the third-generation performer in that lineage.
2. Charlotte Flair, daughter of Ric Flair
WWE identifies Charlotte Flair as Ric Flair’s daughter and describes her as a second-generation athlete. In a WWE interview, Charlotte reflected on the advantages her father’s career gave her: “Honestly, I grew up very privileged, and I am so thankful for the opportunities my dad’s career was able to provide.” The statement is her own account of opportunity; it does not reduce her career to her family name.

3. Dominik Mysterio, son of Rey Mysterio
WWE identifies Dominik as Rey Mysterio’s son and records Dominik’s in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2020. WWE also notes that the two became the first father-son duo to capture a WWE tag team title. His childhood appearance in wrestling stories is distinct from the later in-ring career documented in his biography.
4. Natalya, daughter of Jim Neidhart and granddaughter of Stu Hart
WWE’s family guide identifies Natalya as the daughter of Jim Neidhart and granddaughter of Stu Hart. It also says she trained at the Hart Family Dungeon. Her example spans two generations of relatives, but the direct parent-child link is to Neidhart.
5. Dustin Rhodes, son of Dusty Rhodes
WWE’s guide identifies Dustin as one of Dusty Rhodes’s sons and as a WWE performer. The Rhodes family-history feature places the relationship within a wider wrestling dynasty.

A useful standard is evidence that the child or descendant pursued wrestling, not merely that they appeared in a family anecdote or attended an event. WWE’s 2026 report that Stephanie McMahon’s daughters attended her Hall of Fame induction establishes their attendance, not that they work as wrestlers. Likewise, WWE’s report that Randy Orton and his wife welcomed a daughter establishes a family fact, not a wrestling career.
That distinction matters because a famous surname and a documented wrestling career are different things. The examples here rely on WWE’s identification of the family connection alongside a role, training history, debut, or career milestone for the descendant.

Why this is not a definitive top ten
The headline’s number is not an official WWE count or ranking. The documented details support six individual examples from the Orton, Flair, Mysterio, Hart-Neidhart, and Rhodes families. WWE’s family-history feature also discusses the Anoaʻi/Maivia and Von Erich families, but a family or extended-family connection alone is not enough to identify a specific legend’s child as a wrestler. Without a verified parent-child relationship and the descendant’s own career details, adding names would risk overstating what is established.
These examples show wrestling continuing across generations, including women performers as well as men. They do not establish that lineage guarantees access, ability, or success.
