The match where the injuries occurred
Survivor Series: WarGames took place on Saturday, November 30, 2024. WWE’s official event recap, titled “CM Punk and The OG Bloodline conquer Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline inside WarGames at Survivor Series,” lists Reed, Uso and Loa among the men’s WarGames participants. The recap also describes two moments connected to the wrestlers named in the update: an attempted Tsunami by Reed from the top of the cage, and a splash by Uso from the cage onto Jacob Fatu.

The recap establishes that these men competed in the match. It does not tie the injuries to a specific move, and it does not describe the moment Loa was hurt. The injury claims come from the later broadcast announcement, not from the recap.
Timeline
- November 30, 2024: Survivor Series: WarGames is held, including the men’s WarGames match.
- December 6, 2024: WWE announces the three injuries during SmackDown.
- December 6, 2024: Jason Powell at Pro Wrestling Dot Net and Ethan Renner at F4WOnline publish reports describing the announcement.
What these reports do and do not establish
- Established: the three names, the injury type reported for each, the match in which they were hurt, and the date WWE announced the update.
- Established as a December 2024 status only: that Reed was expected to have surgery the following week, that Uso was out indefinitely, and that Loa had already had surgery and was sidelined indefinitely.
- Not established: whether any of the three returned to competition, how long any absence lasted, or what their medical condition is in October 2026.
- Not established: whether Reed’s surgery took place as expected. The December reports describe the plan at that time, not its outcome.
- Source base: two independent outlets reported the same three injuries from the same broadcast announcement. WWE’s own event recap confirms the date and participants but does not carry the injury diagnoses.
Readers looking for current availability should check WWE’s official channels or recent event coverage, since that information is outside the scope of the December 2024 reports.
