The Undertaker and Kane are the two WWE wrestlers clearly documented as using the Tombstone Piledriver. WWE lists the move among both men’s signature moves. The Undertaker is the best-known example; Kane is another confirmed user. This is a WWE-centered answer, not a complete roster of every wrestler in every promotion who may have performed a similar piledriver.
Confirmed WWE wrestlers who used the Tombstone
The Undertaker
WWE identifies the Tombstone as one of The Undertaker’s signature moves. In its feature on his moves, WWE describes his version as lifting an opponent, turning them upside down, and driving them headfirst toward the mat; sometimes he jumped to add impact. That is WWE’s description of the Undertaker’s variation, rather than a universal definition for every move called a Tombstone. WWE’s feature on The Undertaker’s moves
An early documented example came at Survivor Series 1992, when The Undertaker faced Kamala in what WWE calls the first official Casket Match. WWE says The Undertaker hit Kamala with the Tombstone, then rolled him into the coffin after the pinfall. The bout’s rules required a pinfall and the coffin to be closed; WWE notes that the no-pinfal rule followed after this match. This is evidence of an early recorded use, not proof that it was the move’s first use or origin. WWE’s history of Casket Matches
Kane
WWE also lists the Tombstone among Kane’s signature moves. WWE dates his debut to October 5, 1997, at Badd Blood. In their WrestleMania XIV match on March 29, 1998, The Undertaker defeated Kane after delivering three Tombstone Piledrivers, according to WWE’s Brothers of Destruction chronology. That match documents The Undertaker using the move against Kane; Kane’s WWE profile separately confirms him as a user.

Why similar piledrivers should not automatically be counted
“Tombstone” is a named move, while “piledriver” can refer to a broader family of wrestling moves. A wrestler performing an inverted or otherwise similar-looking piledriver does not, by itself, establish that the move was specifically identified as a Tombstone. The confirmed names above are supported by WWE’s own move listings and historical coverage; this evidence does not establish a complete list across other promotions.
