Oba Femi should be the centerpiece of a new Paul Heyman-led Dangerous Alliance, with Bronson Reed as a possible second recruit only after a convincing break from The Vision. That is fantasy booking, not a reported WWE plan. WWE’s current story already puts Heyman between Femi and Bron Breakker in a contest framed as a fight over the company’s future—an ideal opening for a consequential recruitment pitch.
Why Oba Femi is the right centerpiece
WWE’s coverage says Heyman stepped between Femi and Breakker and arranged their match after they faced off on Raw. The match was presented as a battle for WWE’s future, giving Heyman a plausible reason to approach Femi: he could try to turn a temporary role as mediator into an alliance with the man he sees as the next defining star. WWE’s August 17, 2026 preview establishes that story setup.
The pitch becomes sharper because Femi is not arriving as a helpless prospect who needs rescuing. In WWE’s September 28 coverage, he returns to attack The Vision after Breakker, Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul had beaten him down. Femi has already made the faction look vulnerable; Heyman’s offer would be an attempt to recruit power, not manufacture it. WWE’s account of Femi’s message to The Vision supplies that immediate conflict.
WWE also included Femi and Theory in its 2026 breakout-Superstar discussion. That is editorial framing, not a measured statistic, but it reinforces why Femi makes sense as the new group’s focal point rather than simply another body in a larger stable. WWE’s breakout-Superstar feature names both wrestlers.

What a new Dangerous Alliance should be
The name carries history, but the strongest version of this idea would borrow the faction’s manager-led structure rather than try to reproduce its original roster. WWE’s official Paul Heyman profile describes his WCW group this way: “Managing Steve Austin, Arn Anderson and Rick Rude in a stable he dubbed his Dangerous Alliance, Heyman used a Big Apple attitude and an oversized 1980s cell phone to help his charges run through the likes of Sting and Ricky Steamboat.” WWE’s profile of Heyman presents him as the forceful manager guiding a prominent star and useful allies toward a shared identity.
For this proposed version, that means Femi as the defining star, a recruit with a distinct in-ring function, and Heyman as the strategist who gives their alliance a purpose. The historical comparison does not establish that WWE intends to revive the exact group or use its name.

Who fits the proposed group—and who does not
| Wrestler | Proposed role | Current story position | Why the fit works—or does not |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oba Femi | Centerpiece and defining star | In conflict with The Vision; positioned opposite Breakker in a story about WWE’s future | He gives Heyman a compelling recruitment target and a new alliance an identity of its own. |
| Bronson Reed | Conditional enforcer | Presented by WWE as a Vision member and an opponent for Femi | His size and menace could add a different threat, but the turn needs a credible betrayal or deal; it is not a current development. |
| Bron Breakker | Central rival, not recruit | Aligned with The Vision and directly opposed to Femi in the “future of WWE” story | Recruiting him would blur the conflict that gives the pitch its hook. |
| Austin Theory | Vision opposition | Named by WWE among the faction members involved in the attack on Femi | Keeping him in The Vision preserves a clear opposing side; WWE’s breakout framing does not make him a proposed recruit here. |
| Logan Paul | Vision opposition | Named by WWE among the faction members involved in the attack on Femi | He helps keep the current faction conflict intact rather than duplicating a role in the proposed alliance. |
Why Bronson Reed is the only conditional addition
Reed is the strongest possible second recruit because he could give Femi a physically imposing ally without taking over the centerpiece role. But WWE currently presents Reed as part of The Vision and has previewed him against Femi at Money in the Bank. WWE’s September 28 match preview makes the obstacle clear: an alliance cannot feel earned if Reed simply switches sides without a reason.
A believable turn would need to change the stakes between Reed and The Vision—through a betrayal, a broken promise, or an offer from Heyman that serves Reed’s interests. Until the story supplies that motive, Reed belongs on the other side of the pitch, not in the stable. His recruitment is an option for a later plot beat, not a claim about what WWE is planning.

The fantasy-booking version in one line
Heyman tries to recruit the man who has already exposed The Vision’s vulnerability: Femi accepts the strategist’s backing on his own terms, while Breakker remains the rival and Reed’s potential switch is held back until the story gives it a reason.
