Returning cast
Owen Wilson returns as Pryce Cahill, with Peter Dager as teenage golf prodigy Santi Wheeler and Marc Maron as Pryce’s caddie, Mitts. Mariana Treviño and Lilli Kay also return. Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant are listed among returning cast members in 2026 coverage.

What is Season 2 about?
The new season continues Pryce’s effort to mentor Santi while pursuing a comeback of his own: becoming the oldest golfer to win a major. Season 1 introduced Pryce as a former professional golfer whose career had stalled. Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman return as broadcasters, while golf creators Matt Scharff and Dan Rapaport are also set to appear.
Is there a Season 2 trailer?

Who makes Stick?
Jason Keller created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Owen Wilson, Ben Silverman and Guymon Casady are also executive producers, as are Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton. Lee Eisenberg is included in some credit listings.
Has filming finished?
Showrunner Jason Keller said in spring 2026 that Season 2 had wrapped production and was in post-production, according to a report published at the time. That update indicates filming was complete months before the scheduled premiere.
