When can you watch it?
Paramount describes the film as opening exclusively in theaters. Its April 2026 guide says the first three Sonic the Hedgehog films are streaming on Paramount+, but also cautions that availability can change. It does not give a streaming date for the fourth film, so viewers should not assume when it will arrive on a service or which regional catalogs will carry it.
Will there be Sonic 4 merchandise?
Yes. In a March 10, 2026 announcement, SEGA described a licensing collaboration with JAKKS Pacific and its costume division, Disguise, for a planned range of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 products. Categories include action figures, plush, playsets, role-play products, costumes, and costume accessories, with products expected to reach the market in early 2027 ahead of the film. That announcement describes a planned range; it does not confirm that any particular item is already for sale. SEGA’s merchandise announcement includes the details.

In its January 2025 announcement, SEGA reported that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 had made $425 million worldwide and surpassed the preceding film’s $405 million worldwide record. SEGA also said the three-film franchise had exceeded $1 billion worldwide. These are figures reported by SEGA in 2025, not updated box-office totals. SEGA’s announcement provides the figures.
