Schultz’s post, as Us Weekly quoted it, read: “Sources: The NFL is putting the highly anticipated #Chiefs at #Bills game on NBC for Thanksgiving night this year,” followed by “Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes on Turkey Night.” These are a reporter’s words relayed by an entertainment outlet, not an official NFL announcement, and they do not mention Swift.

Coverage of this question mixes very different types of information. Keeping them apart is the only way to read them accurately.

The 2023 entry shows that a holiday can pass with the two apart. The 2024 entry shows a family gathering. The 2025 entry shows a football commitment on the holiday while the reporting described private plans only through anonymous sourcing.

What would change the answer
A confirmed answer would need a direct statement from Swift or Kelce, or reporting that names specific plans for the day. Until then, the accurate framing is that a Thanksgiving night game is on Kelce’s reported schedule, and Swift’s holiday plans have not been confirmed.
