There is no confirmed announcement in the official sources reviewed that Lucy will appear in the Cyberpunk 2077 game. Lucy—Lucyna Kushinada—is an established character in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but her place in the franchise does not confirm a game cameo. The question remains unresolved: a lack of confirmation is not proof that she never appears.
What is confirmed about Lucy
CD PROJEKT RED identifies Lucyna Kushinada, known as Lucy, as one of the main characters of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The official series site describes her as “An enigmatic netrunner whose sharp skills are the product of her mysterious past.” CD PROJEKT RED’s Edgerunners character page lists her among the cast.

That establishes Lucy’s role in the anime and its shared fictional world. It does not establish that she appears as a character or cameo in the video game.
What Edgerunners 2 tells us—and what it doesn’t
CD PROJEKT RED and Studio TRIGGER announced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 as a standalone anime with a brand-new cast. Its official materials present a new story and list new characters; the announcements reviewed do not identify Lucy as part of that cast. The official site lists October 20, 2026, as the premiere date. Showrunner, story writer, and producer Bartosz Sztybor said, “David’s story might be over, but there’s plenty more to discover in Night City.” The official Edgerunners 2 site covers the series.

A new-cast anime announcement is not a statement about every character in the game. It neither confirms Lucy’s Cyberpunk 2077 appearance nor proves she is absent from it.
Lucy’s other announced appearances are separate
CD PROJEKT RED announced Lucy as a guest character in GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-. That is a crossover appearance in a different game, not evidence of a cameo in Cyberpunk 2077. The announcement identifies the game and her guest role.

Lucy also appears in tabletop-related Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit material: R. Talsorian Games’ preview says the kit includes biographies of Lucy and other members of David’s crew. For fans interested in a physical collectible rather than an in-game appearance, CD PROJEKT RED’s store lists an official 7-inch Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Lucy figure, with estimated shipment in April 2027. That is a merchandise listing, not evidence about the game. Check the official store listing for current availability and details.
