Yes. Netflix has confirmed a sixth season of Emily in Paris, and it is the final one. Netflix Tudum reported on September 18, 2026 that filming had finished and that the season is scheduled to premiere on December 24, 2026. As of October 8, 2026, that premiere is still in the future, so the date should be read as scheduled rather than as something that has already happened.
Season 5 closes with Gabriel sending Emily a postcard from Greece, inviting her to join him. Official first-look images later showed Emily and Gabriel talking at an open-air market in Greece. Those images establish that the two characters share a scene in the final season. They do not establish that the two get back together.
What is confirmed about Season 6
Four points are established by official Netflix material and can be stated without qualification:
- Season 6 is confirmed and is the series finale. Netflix announced the show will end with this season. Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper, described it as the “final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime” in the May 21, 2026 announcement reported by Netflix Tudum.
- The scheduled premiere is December 24, 2026. The date comes from Netflix Tudum’s September 18, 2026 update, which also said filming had wrapped.
- Greece is the first production stop. The May 21 announcement said production would begin in Greece, move to Monaco, and then return to Paris. The September update said Emily explores Greece and Monaco and that Paris remains on the season’s itinerary.
- Returning and new cast are named. Netflix Tudum’s September 18 report identifies Lily Collins as Emily, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, and Ashley Park as Mindy, and lists returning cast including Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Paul Forman.
How Season 5 set up the Greece ending
The final season picks up threads that Season 5 left open. Emily travels between Paris and Italy for work and romance, and the series builds two separate relationship storylines that carry into the finale.

Emily, Marcello, and Gabriel
Emily and Italian cashmere heir Marcello break up after she declines to join him in his village and chooses the career she has built in Paris. Separately, Gabriel is offered work as a private chef aboard billionaire Thomas Heatherton’s yacht. When Gabriel learns Emily is single, he sends the postcard from Greece. Season 5 does not show Emily’s response in the official recap, and that unanswered invitation is the cliffhanger.
Mindy and Nicolas
Mindy accepts Nicolas’s proposal in Venice, while Alfie says he believes the engagement is a mistake. The official materials available so far do not reveal how this triangle resolves, so it is a second open storyline for the final season rather than a settled outcome.

What the postcard does and does not settle
The postcard works as a story device. It reconnects Emily and Gabriel after her breakup with Marcello and his move into yacht work, and it gives the writers a reason to set the next chapter in Greece. It is an invitation, not a decision. Nothing in the Season 5 ending shows Emily accepting it.
That distinction matters when reading the teaser material. The careful reading is that the door is open and a reunion is being set up. Whether Emily goes to Greece, and what she finds there, is not answered by the cliffhanger itself.

What the first-look photos show
Netflix’s August 27, 2026 first-look coverage included a photo of Emily and Gabriel talking together at an open-air Greek market. That confirms the pair are placed together in a Greek setting in the final season. It does not show what they say to each other or whether their conversation leads to a relationship.
Promotional stills are selected to build anticipation, so they are a weak basis for predicting the romantic outcome. Treat the photo as evidence of a scene, and wait for the season itself to show how that scene plays out.

Season 6 itinerary
- Greece: the first production location, and the setting of the postcard invitation and the market photo.
- Monaco: the second location, which Netflix Tudum’s September update says Emily explores.
- Paris: the return to the city where the series is based, which remains part of the season.

What the creators and star have said
In the May 21, 2026 announcement, Darren Star, the series creator and executive producer, said: “We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you.” Lily Collins’s description of the season as the final chapter, quoted above, is the only other on-the-record framing the official coverage offers. Neither statement addresses how the Greece storyline ends.
The verdict for viewers
Season 6 is coming and it is the last one. The Greece ending is best read as a deliberate opening rather than a resolution: the postcard, the Greek setting, and the first-look photo all point toward Emily and Gabriel sharing a storyline again, but the official material stops short of confirming a reunion. Until the December 24, 2026 premiere, the honest answer to whether Emily goes to Greece and ends up with Gabriel is that the sources do not yet say.
