“Lil Naitch” is a playful reference to Ric Flair’s “Nature Boy” persona. WWE also spells Robinson’s nickname “Little Naitch” and “Li’l Naitch”; his friendship with Flair and a WCW storyline that cast him as a “little Nature Boy” help explain the association.
What does “Lil Naitch” mean?
“Naitch” is a familiar-sounding shorthand for “Nature Boy,” Ric Flair’s wrestling identity. WWE describes Flair as adopting that identity after challenging Buddy Rogers, whom it identifies as the original “Nature Boy.” The name therefore links Robinson to Flair’s persona rather than indicating that Robinson originated it.
WWE uses “Little Naitch” for Robinson and elsewhere writes it as “Li’l Naitch.” “Lil Naitch” is another rendering of the same nickname. WWE’s After the Bell page calls him “the man known affectionately as ‘Little Naitch’” and says the episode explores how his connection with Flair began.
How did Robinson become associated with Flair?
Robinson was a longtime fan and friend of Flair, and WWE describes their connection as part of the After the Bell conversation. In a published transcription of his comments on the podcast, Robinson recalled a WCW storyline with Flair and Arn Anderson that presented him as a “little Nature Boy.” He said the angle included being given a Ric Flair robe.

“Well, the biggest thing that stands out is when they had me do the ‘little Nature Boy’ storyline with Ric and Arn,” Robinson recalled.
Robinson also recalled the proposal for the angle: “And we’ll give you a Ric Flair robe.” These quotations come from Robinson’s podcast comments as transcribed by Wrestling Inc., not from a transcript on WWE’s page. The storyline and robe make the nickname’s Flair connection easy to understand, but they do not establish who coined the exact words “Lil Naitch.”

Who first called him “Lil Naitch”?
The available WWE material confirms the nickname and Robinson’s association with Flair, while Robinson’s transcribed recollection describes the “little Nature Boy” storyline. Neither identifies who first used “Lil Naitch” or when it was first said. The supported explanation is the reference to Flair’s “Nature Boy” identity; a precise origin story, coiner or first-use date is not established by these sources.
