Sivan did not explain the routing, and his response to fans did not confirm that a Perth headline date would follow.
Which cities were on the initial tour announcement?
On 9 July 2024, the announced November itinerary named four Australian cities: Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. PerthNow reported that Perth was absent from the headline-tour schedule, prompting individual commenters to ask why Sivan was not playing in the city where he grew up. Those comments reflect the reactions reported by the outlet, not a measure of Perth-wide opinion. PerthNow’s report covered the announcement and the response.
Did Sivan explain why Perth was omitted?
No reason for the routing is established in the available reporting. PerthNow said Live Nation declined to comment on the schedule and referred the outlet to Sivan’s Instagram response to a fan. As reported by PerthNow, Sivan wrote: “I’m not saying there are more shows that haven’t been announced yet, but chill on me for a sec.” That reply did not promise a Perth date or explain the decision.
How did the tour schedule change?
On 12 July 2024, The Music reported that strong presale demand had led to an additional Sydney Opera House Forecourt show. The later reported Australian itinerary was:

Nick Ward was listed as the special guest. Auckland followed on 2 December. The update added a Sydney performance; it did not add a Perth headline-tour date. The Music’s 12 July report gives the updated schedule.
Was Troye Sivan in Perth in November 2024?
Yes, but as a separate festival booking rather than a stop on the Something To Give Each Other headline tour. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority’s Kings Park event listing places Sivan on the Spilt Milk House Party lineup in Perth on 16 and 17 November 2024. That festival appearance came before the headline-tour dates and does not change what cities were included in the tour itinerary. The official Kings Park listing identifies the event dates and lineup.

What does the record establish—and what does it not?
The reporting establishes that Perth was missing from the initial headline-tour announcement, that the itinerary was later expanded with a second Sydney show, and that Sivan had a separate Perth festival appearance. It does not establish why Perth was left off the headline routing. The Music also noted that Something To Give Each Other became Sivan’s first number-one debut on the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart; that chart milestone does not explain the tour schedule.
This is a retrospective account of a completed 2024 tour, not a current event listing. Ticketmaster Australia’s artist page currently says there are no upcoming concerts: Troye Sivan on Ticketmaster Australia.
