What is known about Brady and the fixture?
Brady is a minority owner of Birmingham City. BBC Sport noted his role in the club’s ownership group in its preview of the teams’ 2 October 2025 Championship meeting, described as the “Hollywood derby.” That report does not say he would miss a later match or explain why.
Brady attended Birmingham’s home match against Wrexham on 17 September 2024, which Birmingham won 3–1, according to BBC Sport’s match report. His attendance at that game does not establish whether he will be present at another meeting.
Does the NFL scheduling explanation apply?
Not on the evidence available. A Goal.com report published on 22 July 2024 said Brady was expected to miss the two Wrexham–Birmingham meetings in the 2024–25 season because their dates conflicted with NFL commitments. What would confirm the reason?
A reliable answer would need to identify the fixture date and cite a current statement or report directly explaining Brady’s plans. The available BBC Sport coverage of the 2 October 2025 match provides ownership and rivalry context, not an attendance explanation.
