A week without a new episode does not, by itself, mean a series has been canceled. In this case, the report anticipated a return for SVU; it did not provide the same confirmed or expected return date for both shows.

What is the current announced schedule?

These are fall premiere times, not evidence about the earlier March break. NBC’s official SVU page lists season 26 episodes dated March 20 and April 3, 2025, with no intervening episode listed. That earlier listing gap shows that a weekly schedule can have pauses; it does not establish why NBC scheduled the March 2026 break.
