If you were looking for new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, NBC had replaced the planned lineup with coverage of President Joe Biden’s farewell address, according to contemporaneous reporting. The shows returned with new episodes the following Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Why there was no new One Chicago on Jan. 15, 2025
NBC’s planned Jan. 15 episodes were bumped for coverage of President Joe Biden’s farewell address, contemporaneous coverage reported. The sources available do not include a direct NBC statement explaining the schedule change, so the reason is best attributed to that reporting rather than presented as an official network explanation. ComingSoon’s report covered the interruption.
