During it, medium Allison DuBois told Kyle Richards that her husband, Mauricio Umansky, would “never emotionally fulfill” her. Kyle and Mauricio separated in 2023, more than a decade later, which makes the remark look like a prediction. It was not one that can be verified. A television remark cannot be tested as foresight, and the episode cannot show that the reading caused or accurately described the split. As of Bravo’s July 14, 2026 report, Kyle and Mauricio lived apart but had not filed divorce paperwork and were not legally divorced.
What happened at the dinner
Camille Grammer hosted the dinner at her home and invited her friend Allison DuBois, a medium. The conversation turned to readings, and Allison addressed Kyle’s marriage. Bravo’s July 16, 2024 retrospective, in which Camille looked back on the evening under the headline “It Got Nasty,” identifies the gathering as Season 1, Episode 9 and places it in the show’s first season, which premiered in 2010.

What Allison said
The line that people still quote comes from Bravo’s October 27, 2023 coverage of the scene. Allison told Kyle:
“He will never emotionally fulfill you — ever. Know that.”

Bravo’s own summary paraphrases the remark as saying Mauricio would “never emotionally fulfill” Kyle. The wording above is the version Bravo reproduced in that report, and it is the one to use when quoting the moment.
Why the scene looks prescient, and what it does not prove
The sense of prophecy comes from the gap between the 2010 broadcast and the 2023 separation. Two things are established by the sources; a third is only an interpretation.

- Established: the remark was made on camera during Season 1, Episode 9.
- Established: Kyle and Mauricio separated in 2023.
- Interpretation: that the separation matches Allison’s words. Viewers who learned the outcome first supply that link; the episode itself does not.
Nothing in the coverage shows that Allison’s reading was accurate in any causal or supernatural sense, or that the marriage ended for the reason she named. The most that can be said is that a dramatic statement from 2010 aged in an uncomfortable way.

Kyle’s response to the prediction
Asked whether Allison was right, Kyle answered on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen:
“My husband and I were very, very happy. This is not fake. We really had an amazing marriage for a very long time.”
Her answer does not dispute that the couple separated. It disputes the idea that the reading captured their marriage.

The episode also led to a second split. Bravo’s July 16, 2024 retrospective reports that Camille Grammer’s marriage to Kelsey Grammer ended in divorce less than a year after the episode aired. Because the dinner involved both couples, a headline that refers only to “this couple” can be misread. If you are searching for Camille and Kelsey, their story is separate from Kyle and Mauricio’s, and the two should not be confused.
