Yes. Patrick Schwarzenegger said he asked to do a bedroom scene naked after initially being given shorts. He viewed Saxon Ratliff’s walk to the bathroom as a power move: a way to show the character’s confidence and disregard for what others think.
What happens in the scene?
In a season-three bedroom scene with Saxon and his brother Lochlan, Saxon gets out of bed and walks naked to the bathroom. Men’s Health identifies it as part of the first episode of the season.

Why did Schwarzenegger choose nudity?
Schwarzenegger told British GQ that he was initially wearing pyjama shorts before asking, “What if he was just naked?” He said Saxon would not hide himself or grab a towel, describing the choice as a way for the character to show he “doesn’t care about anybody.” British GQ published the interview on March 24, 2025.
He gave a similar account to Men’s Health on March 30, 2025, saying boxer-briefs had been provided and that he proposed doing the scene naked because it showed Saxon had no worry about what anyone else thought. These are Schwarzenegger’s explanations of his acting choice; they should not be taken as a separate statement from series creator Mike White.

- The disk has English audio and subtitles.
What does the choice say about Saxon?
Schwarzenegger framed the nudity as characterization, not simply exposure: Saxon’s unselfconscious walk is meant to project confidence and dominance in the bedroom, including in his dynamic with Lochlan. That interpretation comes from the actor’s interviews, rather than an independently stated explanation from the show’s creators.
