As Pitchfork reported, the band wrote: “Our band won two Grammys last night, sitting together in [drummer Zac Farro’s] living room, dressed in our regular clothes (yes, we saw the empty red carpet meme).” The bracketed identification of Farro was Pitchfork’s clarification.

They were the band’s first official group Grammy wins. Hayley Williams and Taylor York had previously received Grammy recognition as songwriters for “Ain’t It Fun,” but that songwriting award is distinct from an award won by Paramore as a group.
