Was it really “a long time coming”?
The phrase is an interpretation, not something the reported timeline proves. DeSorbo’s explanation points to changing priorities, while Conover’s later account stresses surprise and uncertainty. Neither account establishes that they had jointly planned a breakup for a long time, and the public record does not establish private motives beyond what each has said.
