Love Is Blind Season 7’s Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski were engaged, met in person and then learned they would not continue with the other couples to Mexico. The explanation made public is about the show’s limited production capacity—not a disclosed incident or a stated judgment about their relationship. Leo said he did not know the specific reason they were left out.
What happened to Leo and Brittany?
Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski got engaged in the pods and met face-to-face on Season 7. But they were not among the six couples chosen to continue the experiment in Mexico. An on-screen card, quoted by Forbes on October 3, 2024, said they took their own trip to Mexico and ended their engagement weeks later.

Those are two separate events: the card describes a trip the pair arranged themselves, followed by the end of their engagement. Forbes also summarized separate interviews with People reporting that the breakup took place in Miami. The accounts should not be conflated.
Why did producers leave them out?
Love Is Blind creator and executive producer Chris Coelen has described practical limits on how many couples the production can follow. In an interview quoted by Forbes, he said: “We have the budget to follow five couples and sometimes we stretch to six couples, and we figure out how to stack our crews.”

That explains why the show may follow only a subset of engaged couples. It does not establish the specific reason Leo and Brittany were not chosen. Coelen did not identify a couple-specific incident or assessment in the explanation quoted by Forbes, and Leo said he did not know why production made the decision. In an interview reported by Swooon/TV Insider on October 2, 2024, Leo put it this way: “You’ll have to ask production about that.”
So the available explanation is not that producers publicly called their relationship weak, or that a particular scandal or event disqualified them. The specific selection decision remains undisclosed.

Had engaged couples been left off the trip before?
Yes. Netflix’s Tudum reported in 2022 that two engaged Season 2 couples—Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont, and Caitlin McKee and Joey Miller—did not go on the Mexico trip. Coelen told Tudum that production has to select which stories it can follow, given its limits on crews, budget and time: “It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow.”
The earlier cases show that being engaged does not guarantee a place in the trip portion of the series. They do not, by themselves, reveal why any particular couple was omitted. Coelen’s comments describe a recurring production constraint, not a published statistic about how often engaged couples are left off the trip.
