Kardashian explained the styling concept in Vogue’s “Final Fitting: Kim Kardashian” video, saying, “I just grabbed my boyfriend’s sweater.” She framed it as a character and a scene, not as a report of an actual night or a real boyfriend’s garment: “You’ve overslept, you wake up after like literally the best night of your life”. The imagined wearer is hurrying away after a night in a garden, still disheveled and short on time.
That story makes the cardigan’s casualness intentional. It sets an intimate, slightly rumpled mood against an elaborate metallic couture outfit.
