The answer depends on the year. On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Love Island USA was off because Season 7’s announced schedule took Wednesdays off; its next regular episode was scheduled for Thursday, June 12. But Peacock’s Season 8 catalog lists an episode dated June 11, 2026, so the 2025 break does not explain a missing episode in 2026.
Why wasn’t Love Island USA on June 11, 2025?
June 11, 2025, fell on a Wednesday. In its Season 7 premiere announcement, Peacock said new episodes would arrive every day except Wednesday. That makes the planned weekly break the explanation for there being no regular episode that night—not evidence that the season had been canceled or delayed.

When did the regular episodes return?
Thursday, June 12, was the next regular release day under that schedule. Peacock’s announcement establishes the Wednesday break; June 12 follows from the calendar and the announced weekday pattern.
What if you mean June 11, 2026?
The answer is different for 2026. Peacock’s Love Island USA catalog lists Season 8 as premiering June 2, 2026, and includes an episode dated June 11, 2026. The date alone therefore does not establish that the show was off that night; check the episode listing for the relevant season and date.
