Cara Delevingne asked Justin Bieber to unblock her after he ranked her last in a television game about which of his wife Hailey Bieber’s friends he liked most. Bieber said he knew Kendall Jenner better and had nothing against Delevingne or Gigi Hadid. Delevingne’s Instagram caption raised the possibility that Bieber had blocked her, but contemporaneous reporting did not independently confirm it.
What Justin Bieber said on James Corden’s show
In a February 2020 episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Bieber played “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” Asked to rank Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne by how much he liked them, he could instead have eaten a bull penis. He ranked Jenner first, Hadid second and Delevingne third.

Bieber explained that he had spent more time with Jenner. As ELLE reported his answer, he said: “I haven’t spent a lot of time with Gigi and I haven’t spent a lot of time with Cara so I have nothing against those people. It’s just I have a better relationship [with Kendall].” The ranking was about his familiarity and relationship with the three, according to his explanation; he did not say he had a personal grievance against Delevingne.
Why Delevingne asked him to unblock her
On February 21, 2020, Delevingne posted the segment on Instagram alongside older photos of herself with Bieber, including one from the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Her caption, as reproduced by ELLE, Teen Vogue and TheWrap, read: “Now vs. Then. If you have nothing against me, then why don’t you unblock me? Love you @haileybieber – he should have just eaten the bull penis.”

The “unblock me” line was a pointed response to being ranked last and to Bieber’s explanation that he had nothing against her. The caption also expressed affection for Hailey, so it should not be read as an attack on her. Delevingne’s remark may have been joking, but the post itself does not explain the history behind the alleged block.
Did Bieber really block Delevingne?
The available contemporaneous reports do not independently establish that Bieber had blocked Delevingne on Instagram. The claim comes from Delevingne’s own caption, which implies that he had. Teen Vogue noted that they did not follow one another on Instagram at the time, but that detail does not verify a block or explain why they were not following each other.

TheWrap reported on February 22, 2020, that Bieber had not publicly responded to Delevingne’s post as of that article’s publication. That is a time-specific account, not evidence about any later response or the pair’s current social-media status.

The best-supported account is limited: Bieber ranked Delevingne last in a game, explained that he knew Jenner better, and Delevingne responded with a caption asking him to unblock her. The post made the exchange look tense, but it does not prove a confirmed feud or establish what happened privately between them. Teen Vogue also noted that the full story might never be known.

- BIEBER JUSTIN BELIEVE- EDICION STANDARD
Teen Vogue reported that the pair had publicly criticized one another in 2019, after Bieber defended his manager Scooter Braun during a dispute with Taylor Swift and Delevingne criticized Bieber’s response. That earlier disagreement offers context for why people might read the 2020 post as part of a longer tension; it does not confirm the reason for the alleged block.
