In an Instagram Stories response reported on September 7, 2025, Bure said the comments on her beach photo had become focused on her body. She explained that she had been enjoying the end of summer and that the post “wasn’t about my bathing suit or my body.” Her conclusion was direct: “It wasn’t worth it. I took it down.” Entertainment Weekly’s report, republished by Yahoo, and CinemaBlend’s coverage both reproduce her explanation.
The full statement was reported as: “Yes. I was at the beach. I was in a one-piece, not a bikini. I am soaking up the end of summer. I was having fun. It wasn’t about my bathing suit or my body. But the comments became flooded with people discussing my body. It wasn’t worth it. I took it down.”
This wording is attributed to Bure’s Stories by September 2025 coverage; the original Story is not directly preserved in the cited reports. AOL’s account places her response on Saturday, September 6, after a fan asked about a swimsuit picture she had posted and then removed.

Why did she remove the picture?
