Bec Judd appeared in a Mermade Hair Times Square billboard campaign connected to the brand’s US retail launches. PerthNow reported on 16 February 2024 that the billboard promoted Mermade Hair’s Nordstrom launch; a separate brand post documents an earlier 2023 Times Square campaign tied to CVS Beauty.
What was the 2024 Times Square billboard for?
PerthNow reported on 16 February 2024 that Judd shared news of the billboard on social media the previous Thursday. The report connected the pink LED billboard and Mermade Hair blow dry brush with the brand’s launch into Nordstrom. PerthNow’s report reproduces two lines attributed to Judd’s Instagram post: “Super proud to be part of the launch of @mermade.hair hair into Nordstrom!” and “Ps – I couldn’t have lived without my blowdry brush while I was away.”
These are excerpts reported by PerthNow, not independently verified captions. The report establishes the campaign context, but does not give an exact billboard display date or duration.
How does the 2023 campaign differ?
Mermade Hair published a separate account on 16 May 2023 describing Judd on a Times Square billboard with its Interchangeable Blow Dry Brush. The brand linked that appearance to its CVS Beauty launch in the United States. Mermade Hair’s 2023 post is brand-authored material.
