The likely commercial is Uber Eats’ 2025 Super Bowl LIX ad, A Century of Cravings. Matthew McConaughey appears with Kevin Bacon, Sean Evans, William “The Refrigerator” Perry, Martha Stewart, Charli XCX and Greta Gerwig. Peyton Manning is connected to a steak-and-Omaha football reference. Uber Eats has featured McConaughey in more than one campaign, so the year helps identify the ad.
Who appears in the 2025 commercial?
Uber Eats’ A Century of Cravings, released ahead of Super Bowl LIX, brings McConaughey together with several performers in separate scenes rather than placing the entire cast in one sequence. ABC News’ February 4, 2025 report describes these appearances and the ad’s food-and-football premise.
- Kevin Bacon appears in a sequence playing on the connection between pigskin and bacon.
- Sean Evans, host of Hot Ones, eats wings with McConaughey.
- William Perry, the former football player, appears in a scene involving Mike Ditka.
- Martha Stewart and Charli XCX appear together in a boardroom scene.
- Greta Gerwig appears as a director in the closing sequence.
- Peyton Manning is associated with the steak-and-Omaha football reference; the reporting describes him in that context, not as part of the other performers’ scenes.
Uber’s Newsroom index dates A Century of Cravings to February 4, 2025. ABC News’ report on the commercial provides the scene descriptions, while Uber’s Newsroom index lists the campaign title and date.
Could it be a different Uber Eats ad?
Yes. McConaughey has appeared in multiple Uber Eats campaigns. A later spot, Hungry for the Truth, is listed for 2026 with McConaughey and Bradley Cooper; the listing also names Parker Posey. That cast information comes from iSpot’s ad listing rather than a primary Uber release, so it is less firmly established than the detailed 2025 cast report. See the iSpot listing for “Hungry for the Truth.”
