She won the national pageant—not the separate Miss Nebraska 2025 title, which went to Makinzie Gregory.
Who won Miss USA 2025?
Audrey Eckert won Miss USA 2025 representing Nebraska. The Miss Nebraska USA organization’s hall of fame records Eckert as the 2025 Miss USA winner and separately lists Samantha Washington as Miss Nebraska USA 2025. The distinction matters: a contestant can represent a state at the national pageant without holding the state title with the similar name.
When and where was the pageant?
Event coverage describes the final as the 74th annual Miss USA pageant, held October 24, 2025, at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. That coverage also reports that 51 contestants competed; this figure comes from event coverage, not the official state organization’s results record. The Next Miss USA’s event archive reports the date, venue, field size and crowning details.
Who were the runners-up?
According to event coverage, Ivy Harrington of New Jersey was first runner-up and Chantéa McIntyre of Oregon was second runner-up. Victoria Kjær Theilvig, Miss Universe 2024, crowned Eckert.

Why “Miss Nebraska” can be confusing
Two distinct Nebraska pageant titles appear in the records. The Miss Nebraska USA organization is associated with the Miss USA system; its historical listing names Eckert as Miss USA 2025 and Washington as Miss Nebraska USA 2025. By contrast, the Miss Nebraska scholarship organization announced Makinzie Gregory as Miss Nebraska 2025 on June 8, 2025, alongside separate runners-up and a Miss Nebraska’s Teen winner. The scholarship organization’s announcement identifies Gregory’s title.
So, “Nebraska’s Audrey Eckert” or “the Nebraska representative” is more precise than calling Eckert simply “Miss Nebraska.” Gregory did not win Miss USA, and Eckert did not hold Gregory’s separate state title.
