PerthNow reported in November 2023 that Hugh Jackman left a dinner party with Donna Dainty, identifying her through Australian entertainment reporter Peter Ford. The report is inconsistent about where the sighting happened: its headline and body say New York City, while its photo captions say Los Angeles.
Who was the woman with Hugh Jackman?
PerthNow’s November 1, 2023 report said Peter Ford identified the woman as Donna Dainty, the wife of concert promoter Paul Dainty, whom the article described as Jackman’s longtime friend. This is a secondhand identification attributed to Ford by PerthNow; the report does not include a direct statement from Donna Dainty or Ford.
The report describes a sighting and an identification. It does not establish a romantic relationship.
Where did the reported sighting take place?
PerthNow’s headline and article text place the dinner party in New York City, but the report’s image captions describe the sighting as taking place in Los Angeles. Because those details conflict within the same report, the location is not settled by the article.
