How Hutchins and Jenner met
Hutchins recalled meeting Jenner while she was still at Pepperdine. They were introduced through a makeup artist and hairstylist, according to Cosmopolitan, which quoted Hutchins’s 2018 interview on The Hidden Truth with Jim Breslo.
What Hutchins said about their relationship
Public speculation often focused on whether Hutchins and Jenner were romantically involved. Hutchins rejected that description in the 2018 interview: “I wouldn’t describe it as a romantic relationship.” She characterized their connection as close and collaborative. In an interview with E!, she described them as “partners” and “business partners,” and identified herself as executive director of Jenner’s foundation.

Her work with Jenner and beyond
Hutchins’s public work after meeting Jenner included managing her and serving as an executive with the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. She also appeared on the reality series I Am Cait. Separately, Hutchins founded and led LUMASOL, a sunscreen business. Those roles widened her public profile, but they were only part of a life that also included her education, transition, and earlier interest in finance.
