SAG-AFTRA announced that the ceremony would take place Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, with a global stream on Netflix and Kristen Bell as host. The announcement covered event logistics, not memorial selections.

Why were Hulk Hogan and the others omitted?
The available reporting does not establish why Hogan or any other person was absent. It gives no official explanation or selection criteria, and it does not show whether every reported omission was intentional. Without an attributable explanation, claims about the organizers’ motives would be speculation.
