Coffey Anderson’s ex-wife was Criscilla Anderson, born Criscilla Crossland, a hip-hop dancer and choreographer who died on December 2, 2025, at age 45 after a seven-year fight with colon cancer. Coffey filed for divorce in 2022. An obituary published by Legacy.com on May 6, 2026 says that case was still pending, so the sources available do not confirm a finalized divorce.
Who Criscilla Anderson was
Before she was known as Coffey Anderson’s wife, Criscilla built her own career as a hip-hop dancer and choreographer. The Independent, which reported her death on December 3, 2025, says she performed with Rihanna, Snoop Dogg and Britney Spears and choreographed for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. The same report notes her appearance in a Netflix docuseries about that team. Those credits existed apart from the family’s television profile, and they are the most accurate way to describe her professionally.

Her marriage to Coffey Anderson and the divorce filing
Reporting describes Coffey and Criscilla as married in 2009. Coffey filed for divorce in 2022. The Legacy.com obituary, published May 6, 2026, says the case remained pending and that the couple continued to describe themselves as partners in parenting and in facing her illness.
A divorce filing is not a final decree. The reporting reviewed here does not establish a judgment, a dissolution date or the terms of any settlement. Use “former wife” or “estranged wife” rather than stating that the divorce was finalized. The word “ex-wife” in some headlines does not by itself confirm a completed legal divorce.

The obituary names the couple’s three children, Ethan, Emmarie and Everleigh. It also places Coffey’s daughter Savannah, from a prior relationship, within the blended family.
Country Ever After and why viewers knew the family
Country Ever After is a 2020 Netflix series that followed the Anderson family, including Criscilla’s cancer journey. In an Entertainment Tonight interview published November 6, 2020, Coffey explained why the family let cameras document her illness: “I want people to see the cancer journey… It is ugly, and it takes all hands on deck.” The same article said the first season was streaming on Netflix at that time.

Her cancer and death
Most of what is publicly known about her diagnosis comes from Criscilla’s own account in a SurvivorNet interview published August 7, 2020. The obituary and The Independent’s report supply the later facts.
Diagnosis and recurrence, 2018 to 2019
In that interview, Criscilla said she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June 2018, after symptoms and an initial colitis diagnosis. She described a later recurrence and a stage 4 diagnosis in 2019. She also gave a first-person account of a difficult conversation in the family, saying: “I knew in that moment I couldn’t lie to him. I had to be honest with him.” These dates are as reported in August 2020, and the interview is the only source reviewed that gives this level of detail.

Death in December 2025
Legacy.com dates her death to December 2, 2025, and describes it as the end of a seven-year fight with colon cancer. The Independent reports that she died from colon cancer at 45 and that her photographer later shared a posthumous statement from her. The reporting reviewed does not include the full text of that statement, so it should be quoted only if the complete source is checked.
