Reports describe his voice as processed with an autotune effect. The available evidence does not establish that the original recording samples a particular earlier song.
Who sings the female-sounding part?
The vocal is widely attributed to Ola Onabule. The apparent change in gender is associated with the high register and reported vocal processing, rather than a separately identified female singer. Coverage by 90s90s relays Onabule’s account that he recognized his own voice in the song, with or without the autotune effect.
That attribution is not displayed consistently in music-service credits. Shazam identifies Gigi D’Agostino as the performing artist and names songwriters and composers, but its performing-artist listing does not name Onabule. Qobuz’s album metadata does list Ola Onabule as an associated performer. Taken together, these sources support the attribution while leaving a distinction between reported vocal identification and a uniform standard credit.
Does “I’ll Fly with You” sample another song?
The available sampling evidence does not identify a source recording sampled by the original “L’Amour Toujours.” It instead documents later music sampling this song. For example, WhoSampled lists Summer of Haze’s “IFWY” as using vocals or lyrics from “I’ll Fly With You (L’Amour Toujours).” That is a later track sampling Gigi D’Agostino’s song—not evidence that the 1999 original sampled Summer of Haze or another specific recording.

Which song and release are these credits about?
“L’Amour Toujours” and “I’ll Fly with You” are alternate titles for the same Gigi D’Agostino song, associated with his 1999 album of the same name. Vocal credits can vary across services and versions, so the Ola Onabule attribution should be understood as a reported identification of the vocal on the familiar recording, not a consistently displayed credit for every remix, cover, or later version.
