The younger versions of six Hargreeves siblings are played by T.J. McGibbon (Vanya, later Viktor), Cameron Brodeur (Luther), Blake Talabis (Diego), Eden Cupid (Allison), Dante Albidone (Klaus) and Ethan Hwang (Ben). Five is different: Aidan Gallagher plays him in his adolescent-looking body after time travel.

Is young Five played by a different actor?
No separate younger performer is assigned to Five in this straightforward cast distinction. Aidan Gallagher plays Five, whose adolescent appearance is part of the story: time travel leaves him “stuck in an adolescent’s body,” as Netflix Tudum’s Season 4 cast guide explains. Tudum also describes Five as both the Academy’s youngest and oldest member.
Why does the character’s name change from Vanya to Viktor?
The character is introduced as Vanya and later identified as Viktor Hargreeves. Netflix’s Season 3 cast guide uses Viktor and names Elliot Page as the performer. T.J. McGibbon is credited as the younger performer for the character, so use Vanya or Viktor according to the season or scene being discussed.

How does Ben’s timeline affect the casting question?
The younger-role credit for Ben belongs to Ethan Hwang. It should not be confused with the alternate-timeline Sparrow Academy Ben. Netflix’s guides distinguish the original Ben, who died young in the “Jennifer incident,” from the Sparrow version who is alive in the Season 3 timeline. That distinction is about which Ben appears in the story, not a different answer to who plays young Ben.

This list is limited to younger depictions of the principal Hargreeves siblings. It does not attempt to name every child or teen performer in every season, alternate-timeline counterpart, or unrelated younger character. The official prequel novel The Umbrella Academy: Young Blood is a separate work, not an onscreen casting source; Abrams/Amulet Books lists it as a YA novel by Alyssa Sheinmel, ISBN 978-1-4197-6627-5.
