Spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 7, Episodes 3 and 4: The U.A. traitor is Yuga Aoyama. Season 7, Episode 3, “Villain” (anime episode 141), sets up the discovery; the following episode confirms Aoyama’s identity and explains that All For One had control over him and his parents.
What happens in Season 7, Episode 3?
“Villain” opens in the aftermath of Star and Stripe’s battle with Shigaraki. Her final New Order rule leaves him suffering and stripped of many Quirks. All For One says he has several routes toward his goal, then contacts someone as part of his next move to take One For All from Deku.
Meanwhile, Deku, Bakugo and their classmates are training at U.A. A student goes missing, turning the school’s long-running insider mystery into the episode’s cliffhanger. The episode raises the question of who has been giving information to the villains; its immediate follow-up supplies the explicit answer and fuller explanation.
Who is the U.A. traitor?
It is Yuga Aoyama. The official synopsis for episode 142, “The Story of How We All Became Heroes,” confirms that Aoyama reported U.A.’s movements to All For One. It also explains that All For One gave Aoyama his Quirk when he was a child and that Aoyama and his parents obeyed him. The account therefore frames Aoyama’s betrayal in the context of coercion and his parents’ vulnerability, not simple loyalty to the villains.
