June 13, 2025: police detention and hospitalization
Three days after the separation became public, Kelley livestreamed—or inadvertently left active—an Instagram video showing a police detention. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that deputies had responded to a report of a woman needing help after concerning comments to a family member. The office said the call was not a domestic-violence or abuse call and that Kelley was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Kelley later characterized the incident as being taken or held against her will and made allegations involving Scott. Those claims were not established by the reporting cited here. December 2025 and January 2026: protective-order developments
In December 2025, a Utah court granted Scott’s request to dismiss an amended temporary protective order. Reporting said the protective orders were no longer active.
On January 27, 2026, a Utah judge dismissed the case alleging that Kelley violated Scott’s protective order.
