The profile says he joined PIMCO in 2008 and lists 29 years of investment experience. That figure is his total career experience as stated by PIMCO. It is not a measure of how long he has been at the firm, so it should not be read as tenure.

Bravo reports that Sutton and Christian knew each other from childhood. They married in May 2000 and have three children: daughter Porter and sons Philip and James.

Bravo’s coverage includes Sutton’s description of the early years of the marriage. She said that when they married they were “on equal footing.” She later said that after she stopped working to raise their first child, “My power diminished.” These are Sutton’s perspective, reported by Bravo. They are not an account from Christian, and they should not be read as a full picture of how the marriage worked from his side.
The 2016 divorce
The couple divorced in 2016. Bravo reports that Sutton said she asked Christian to leave the house and that she had initially hoped therapy might resolve their problems. She also said Christian filed for divorce.
