How many children do they have?
Ray and Anna have four children: Ally, twins Gregory and Matthew, and Joseph. Architectural Digest reported the names in a December 2023 feature about the couple’s La Quinta, California, home, which was planned with their adult children in mind.
What is publicly known about Anna Romano?
A family home in La Quinta
Anna and Ray worked with designer Nate Berkus on the La Quinta home, according to Architectural Digest. Anna described it as a place for the family to gather: “It’s a family home. We enjoy sharing it with everybody.” The feature documents their involvement in the home project; it does not establish where they live now.

Ray’s public comments about their partnership
In a 2005 press release about his 60 Minutes interview, Ray joked that Anna handled their finances, saying, “She does the whole thing,” and that he would not know how to pay for things if she were away. Those remarks offer a humorous glimpse of how he described their arrangement at the time, not a comprehensive account of their private roles.
Her influence on his comedy
In a May 2024 Associated Press interview, Ray said some of his comedy material comes from his family. Recalling a comment from Anna, he quoted her as saying: “You don’t talk a lot, but when you do, it’s too much.” It is his anecdote about their family life, rather than a detailed account from Anna herself.
Historical health reporting
A 2023 Parade interview described Anna as a breast-cancer survivor. That is historical reporting and does not establish her current health or treatment status.
