Olivia Henson is the Duchess of Westminster and the wife of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster. The couple married in Chester in 2024, where they said they planned to make their home. Henson’s education and work have been reported publicly, but much of the attention around her comes from her husband’s title and royal connections—not from her being a member of the Royal Family.
Who is Olivia Henson?
Henson became the Duchess of Westminster when she married Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster, on June 7, 2024. The wedding took place at Chester Cathedral. Her public profile is closely tied to the marriage, but available reporting also describes her education and work before the wedding.
What did Olivia Henson study, and what work has she done?
A June 2024 Vogue report said Henson attended Marlborough College, then studied Hispanic Studies and Italian at Trinity College. It also reported that she worked for Belazu, an English artisanal food company, at that time. That is dated employment information; it does not establish her current job.
When did Olivia Henson marry Hugh Grosvenor?
Henson and Grosvenor married on June 7, 2024, at Chester Cathedral. The ceremony made headlines in part because of Grosvenor’s prominent title and royal connections. Contemporary coverage identified him as godfather to Prince George and Prince Archie. Those connections explain some of the wedding’s news profile; they do not make Henson a member of the Royal Family.

The wedding dress and tiara
The Associated Press identified British designer Emma Victoria Payne as the maker of Henson’s wedding dress. Fabergé’s account says Henson wore the Myrtle Leaf Tiara, a jewel commissioned in 1906 for a Grosvenor family wedding. It is a historic family jewel, not evidence of a tiara available for retail.
Why did the couple choose Chester?
Chester was more than the wedding venue. In a pre-wedding interview with Town & Country published May 7, 2024, Henson described the city as the place where she and Grosvenor would live and build their life together. She said they were gradually moving from London to put down roots there.
Rank #2
The couple’s connection to the city also appeared in their public activities. They visited Chester projects supported by the Westminster Foundation, and wedding coverage reported that they subsidized free treats at three independent local businesses for visitors on the day. These appearances do not establish that Henson held a formal position with the foundation.
