Nick Saban’s wife is Terry Saban, formerly Terry Constable. Public sources identify her through her family and her involvement with Nick’s Kids Foundation, the charitable organization established by the Saban family. Here’s what those sources establish—and where they leave her private biography undisclosed.
Who is Terry Saban?
Alabama Athletics identifies Terry Saban, née Terry Constable, as Nick Saban’s wife and says they have two children. Its profile also notes that both are first-generation college graduates. The profile is primarily about Nick, however, and does not provide a detailed independent biography of Terry.
That distinction matters: publicly available information cited here supports a concise account of her family connection and charitable activity, not a fuller personal history.
What is her role in Nick’s Kids Foundation?
Nick’s Kids Foundation says it was established in 1998 to support children, families, teachers, and students. Its work includes charitable giving, community partnerships, and hands-on service. The foundation’s own description is the best guide to its stated mission.

In an August 1, 2019 report, Alabama Athletics described Nick and Terry Saban hosting foundation events and supporting scholarships at the University of Alabama. That coverage documents their public participation at that time; it is not a current event schedule. Read the Alabama Athletics report.
What has Terry Saban said about the family’s legacy?
When Nick Saban announced his retirement in January 2024, Terry described the legacy she hoped the family would leave: “We hope that the Saban legacy will be about helping others and making a positive difference in people’s lives.” The Associated Press quoted her in its January 10, 2024 report on the retirement. What is not established by these sources?
The available sources do not establish Terry Saban’s age, birthplace, schooling, independent career, or how she and Nick met. Nick’s biography at Alabama Athletics mentions books co-authored by Nick, but it does not identify them as books about Terry. Claims about those personal details or a dedicated Terry Saban biography would go beyond the evidence here.
