Public reporting offers a limited account of their family history and a 2014 guardianship petition after Walker’s death; it does not establish a comprehensive biography of Soteros or her present-day circumstances.
Who is Rebecca Soteros?
Rebecca Soteros is identified in reporting as Paul Walker’s former partner and Meadow Walker’s mother. The Los Angeles Times reported in March 2014 that Walker and Soteros had never married. The available accounts do not give a complete history of when or how their relationship began.
Coverage of Soteros largely concerns her connection to Walker and Meadow rather than accounts in her own words. Parade’s retrospective profile does not constitute a direct interview with her, and the available reporting does not provide a first-person account from Soteros.
What has been reported about Meadow Walker’s childhood?
Parade reported in 2021 that Meadow lived with her mother in Hawaii before moving to California to live with her father at about age 13. That is an approximate timeline in retrospective coverage, not a statement attributed directly to Soteros.

What happened after Paul Walker died?
Paul Walker died in 2013. In March 2014, his mother, Cheryl Walker, filed a petition seeking guardianship of Meadow, according to the Los Angeles Times. The report described Meadow’s inherited estate as worth about $16 million, citing the court-paper context; that figure is a reported estimate, not an independently audited valuation.
The same article said court papers alleged that Soteros had a drinking problem. That was an allegation reported from court papers, not a finding by a court and not proof of parental unfitness. The cited coverage establishes that the petition was filed, but does not establish its outcome or a final legal determination about Soteros.

What remains unclear about Soteros?
The available reporting does not establish Soteros’s current residence, occupation, finances, health, relationship status, or a full life history. It also does not provide a directly attributable public statement from her. Those details should not be filled in with unsourced claims or inferred from the limited coverage of the family and court petition.
