Hernández described his partner as Dominican and an architect during a January 26, 2026 episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert. Us Weekly reported his words as: “I’m in a relationship with a Dominican girl. She’s an architect. She’s unreal. She went to Yale.” The original episode audio or transcript was not independently reviewed for this account, so the quotation is attributed to Us Weekly’s reporting. Us Weekly’s report on the interview covers the exchange.
