Mack Lovat is a guitarist associated with Minus Gravity. In June 2022, he and Farrah Abraham gave conflicting accounts of a brief connection: Abraham described it as dating, while Lovat said they never agreed to a relationship. The disagreement is over how to label what happened, and the public record does not independently settle it.
Who is Mack Lovat?
Lovat was identified in June 2022 coverage as a musician and guitarist connected to Minus Gravity. Beyond that professional association, the reporting says little about his background, and nothing in it establishes a wider public profile. He became a subject of celebrity news only because of his short-lived connection with Abraham, the reality television personality.

What happened between them
The two people involved describe the same brief period in opposing terms. Their accounts differ on how they met, whether they had a relationship, and how the connection ended. Each account is reported through the person who gave it, and neither has been independently verified.
Abraham’s account
On June 7, 2022, TMZ reported that Abraham said she was dating Lovat, whom she described as a musician and guitarist associated with Minus Gravity. According to TMZ, the two had known each other for about two years and had recently spent time together. Abraham said she did not want to pursue anything further after they were photographed together and the connection became public. Her reported comment was: “Sometimes people turn into monsters with press, happy I found out now.” That is her characterization of Lovat, not a finding about him.

Lovat’s account
On June 8, 2022, The Ashley’s Reality Roundup published an interview in which Lovat gave his version. He said they met on Bumble in 2020, not through Instagram direct messages, and that they had not spoken much between that first meeting and the week the story broke. He denied agreeing to be Abraham’s boyfriend and said that in the days before the story he texted her to clarify his understanding, after which she blocked him. He also said they had spent two days together in person, which is his own estimate. His words were: “It was surprising to wake up and discover I had acquired a girlfriend overnight because I certainly never agreed to that.. with anyone.”
Allegations reported in the coverage
Monsters and Critics, reporting on June 9, 2022, summarized Lovat’s remarks to The Ashley and repeated Abraham’s public accusations, including a claim of abusive behavior by Lovat. These are allegations made by Abraham, and they have not been established by any independent source. Lovat’s side of the dispute is also his own account.

How to read the coverage
The reporting consists of secondary summaries of statements the two people gave to outlets. It is not an investigation, and it does not establish what private conversations or meetings contained. Readers should treat each account as one person’s version of events, attribute claims to the person who made them, and avoid drawing conclusions about either person’s character from the disagreement alone.

All of the coverage dates from June 2022. Nothing in the reviewed reporting shows later developments in the relationship between the two, and any update after that date would need to be checked against newer sources.
Lovat’s identity is limited to his association with Minus Gravity as reported in that coverage. Any broader details about his career or life should be confirmed from the band or from sources of their own.
