How they met
Lola has described the meeting in her own words in Vogue’s first-person wedding feature. She was working behind the scenes at Virgil Abloh’s first Louis Vuitton show while Scott walked the runway. She recalled: “Our eyes met in the chaos, and there was a silent spark. After the show, Scott walked straight up and asked for my number.” The feature’s account is hers, so the details of the moment come from her memory of the event rather than from an independent record.
The proposal in Kyoto
According to Vogue, the couple had been dating for about a year when Scott proposed on December 28, 2023, in Kyoto. The couple married on June 28, 2025, at Cap Estel in Èze. Vogue’s feature, the main source for the wedding weekend, describes a celebration built around the villa and the people the couple wanted with them.

Venue and weekend
The ceremony took place in the gardens of Villa Cap Estel, overlooking the ocean. The weekend included poolside cocktails, a performance by Badbadnotgood, dinner on the villa lawn, and an after-party in the hotel restaurant. Badbadnotgood had also played at the Louis Vuitton show where the couple met, which the feature presents as the reason their return to that stage of their story mattered to them.
Lola said the couple wanted a beautiful location, the people they loved, and simple décor. In her words: “The red thread throughout the process was timelessness.” She described the ceremony as “a moment out of time where the world stopped.”

The dress and the custom details
Lola asked her friend Alain Paul to design her gown. According to her account in Vogue, an Italian mill custom-made six different laces, and the dress was made by hand in Paris. She put the total at 60 meters of lace. Scott said that he and Lola worked with Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello on three looks for the weekend.
The bands
Wedding coverage reports that Ben Baller made custom bands: rose gold and platinum for Scott, and gold and platinum for Lola. These were bespoke pieces made for the couple, not retail products.

Lola’s fashion background
Vogue describes Lola as a former Louis Vuitton designer. At the time of the wedding feature, it identified her as head designer at ERL. Those are the roles reported in that article. Her current employer and title are not confirmed by the sources available here, so readers should treat ERL as her position at the time of the feature rather than as her present job.
How the marriage became public
Kid Cudi’s public announcement is reported in an RTL Boulevard / ANP article dated July 11, 2025. In it, he describes Lola as “Mijn beste vriendin.
