How Jonathan Knight and Harley Rodriguez met
They met in 2008 through a mutual friend at a Los Angeles bar. Knight had spent the day rehearsing and was preparing to return to the demanding schedule of touring with New Kids on the Block. He later called Rodriguez and invited him to join him on tour; Rodriguez traveled to meet him.
In HGTV’s account, Rodriguez recalled noticing how Knight treated people he did not know: “You can tell a lot about someone in the way they treat people they don’t know.”
