Jen Psaki is married to Gregory Mecher, a political aide and former congressional chief of staff. The two met while working at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) in 2006, according to Vogue.
Who is Gregory Mecher?
Mecher is a political aide whose public career has included campaign work and congressional staff roles. Northern Kentucky University Magazine’s 2016–17 alumni profile identifies him as a 1999 communications graduate of the university and recounts his work in politics, including service as chief of staff to Rep. Joseph Kennedy III at the time of publication. Those are historical roles; the profile does not establish his current occupation.
The university profile traces his path from an early congressional internship through campaign work and positions at the DCCC to congressional staff service. Read it as a snapshot of his career up to the magazine’s 2016–17 issue, not as a current résumé: Northern Kentucky University Magazine’s alumni profile.
