How they met
According to Corden’s account, Cooper persuaded him to attend the Save the Children event, although Corden had preferred a quiet night at home. That detail, and the introduction itself, come from Corden’s own telling in profile reporting, so they are best read as his recollection.
In the People interview from 2018, as quoted by Oprah Daily, Corden recalled his opening line: “I said, ‘Hi, Jules. You might be the most beautiful woman in the world.’” He said Carey replied that it sounded like something he said often, and he said he had never said it before. This is his version of the exchange. Carey and Corden have three children. CBS News / 60 Minutes described the family as raising their children in Los Angeles in its 2021 profile. Later coverage names the children as Max, Carey, and Charlotte. Ages and residence change over time, and the most recent report reviewed is the 2025 People piece, so the 2021 location should be read as a past snapshot rather than the family’s current address.
